Goodness, time has a way of flying through. After months of making plans for my experience to El Salvador with Unbound, June seemingly snuck up on me and i realized that i'm now leaving the united states in only three days. As they say in El Salvador, ay ay ay. ;)
Am completely searching forward to this journey for a hundred motives, and can be sharing approximately it at the blog and Instagram while I’m long gone. however suffice it to say that the week before leaving the country is continually extra than a bit stressful, specifically for a person like me who has a tendency to, ahem, “stay inside the moment”. (Aka: no longer plan ahead.) I’ve been cooking up a storm, looking to wrap up all styles of posts and tasks earlier than I depart, and attending apparently each person In My lifestyles’s birthday parties, child showers, glad hours, and commercial enterprise meetings that come what may all happened to be scheduled this week. Craziness.
Een if schedules are loopy, i have discovered through the years that setting apart simply 10 or 15 mins to prepare a homemade meal has a way of calming and centering me like little else. And in terms of short and smooth food that i can practically make in my sleep, these easy sesame noodles are considered one of my favorites. i have likely made them 100 times through the years — often to go along with my preferred egg drop soup, perhaps some sauted shrimp, all of which i've discovered to multitask in document time — and they show to be the correct comfort food on every occasion.
